Your responsibilities

  • Point of contact for management and our sales team on all compliance-relevant issues relating to sales compliance for funds and the associated legal areas
  • Promoting the compliance culture and integrating it into the corporate and compliance strategy
  • Ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements
  • Monitoring compliance regulations and the appropriateness and effectiveness of risk mitigation measures and preparing compliance reports
  • Implementing and following up on regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Conducting legal negotiations with distribution partners
  • Steering of external lawyers in projects and individual issues
  • Close cooperation with the compliance officers of the Group companies and with other specialist departments (e.g. Group HR, Group Legal)
  • Advising on the further development of compliance management structures and guidelines

Your profile

  • Completed studies in the field of economics, business law, fully qualified lawyer or comparable qualification
  • Relevant professional experience in a compliance position in an internationally active company, a KVG or an international commercial law firm
  • Sound knowledge of EU directives and regulations as well as banking supervisory law (e.g. KAGB, KWG, FinVermV, AIFMD, MiFiD II, MaComp etc.)
  • Basic experience in banking supervisory compliance topics and sales topics in data protection would be an advantage
  • Analytical expertise, high affinity for numbers and precision
  • Confident appearance towards investors and service providers as well as good presentation skills
  • Entrepreneurial thinking, independence and a solution- and service-oriented work attitude
  • Fluent negotiation skills in German and English
  • Distinct ability to work in a team, customer-oriented, confident and obliging appearance
