Dr. Nedim Cen, Member of the Management Board (CEO)
Dr Nedim Cen is a member of the Management Board of Corestate Capital Group as CEO since 3 May 2023. He has also been responsible for the company’s finance as CFO since 1 June 2023. Prior to that, he was a member and Chairman of the Supervisory Board since 2 December 2022. Dr. Nedim Cen holds a doctorate in business administration and a degree in engineering and has more than 25 years of professional experience in operational and financial restructuring, transformation processes as well as capital market and M&A transactions in various industries. In the course of his professional career, he has held various management and supervisory board positions, including at listed companies such as IVG Immobilien Group.
Izabela Danner, Member of the Management Board (COO / CIO)
Izabela Danner, who has been with the company since November 2021, was appointed to the Management Board of Corestate Capital Group as COO (Chief Operating Officer) with effect from 8 March 2022. In January 2022, she additionally assumed the role of Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of the Group’s Real Estate Equity Division.
She brings many years of professional experience at executive board and management level in the real estate and financial services industry and has worked for JLL, Drees & Sommer, Deutsche Börse and DTZ Deutschland Holding, among other firms. She has extensive knowledge in the field of general management of national and multinational companies.
In her role as COO, she drives the topics of transformation & corporate development, human resources, legal & compliance, IT & digitalisation, marketing & communications, ESG & research at Corestate Group. She also leads the Real Estate Equity Segment and there is responsible for the operational areas of Fund Management, Asset Management, Investment Management, Sales and Property/Operator Management..
Izabela Danner holds a master’s degree in business administration from the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt.
Supervisory Board
Dr. Sven-Marian Berneburg, Chairman of the Supervisory Board

Dr. Sven-Marian Berneburg has been a responsible representative of various institutional investors for 15 years. His active experience ranges from pension funds and insurance companies to regulated and unregulated asset managers and an investment company. His focus has always been on illiquid investments, especially real estate, real estate lending and infrastructure, which he has managed in both direct and indirect structures. He is a member of various supervisory bodies, advisory boards and investment committees.
Dr. Berneburg studied, among others, at the University of London (Birkbeck College) and received his doctorate in the field of asset pricing and financial market bubbles from the Martin Luther University, Halle-Wittenberg. In addition to his doctorate, Dr. Berneburg holds an MBA in Real Estate Management from the HTW-Berlin, is a Chartered Surveyor of the RICS and an active member of the Real Estate Risk Management Competence Group of gif e.V. Dr. Sven-Marian Berneburg has been a member of the Corestate Supervisory Board since December 2, 2022.

Dr. Bertrand Malmendier, Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board

Year of birth: 1968
Dr. Bertrand Malmendier has been a lawyer in Berlin for 25 years and is the founder of the law firm of the same name. He advises medium-sized companies and groups as well as the public sector on all aspects of commercial law. His main focus is on the real estate industry, in particular on project developments as well as portfolio and individual transactions.
Bertrand Malmendier studied law, philosophy and history in Lyon, Geneva and Berlin. After a long period of research and teaching at the Institute for Political Science, Constitutional and Administrative Law at the Free University of Berlin, he became a lawyer in 1997, obtained his doctorate in 2000 and founded the present law firm two years later. Dr. Malmendier has been a member of the Corestate Supervisory Board since January 1, 2022.

During his professional career, he has been responsible for numerous supervisory and management mandates of companies in special situations across various industries. Dr. Carlos E. Mack has been a member of the Corestate Supervisory Board since May 3, 2023.
